Devil's Peak
Devil's Peak sits on the city's eastern edge and sees far fewer hikers than Platteklip Gorge. The route from Tafelberg Road climbs through fynbos with the city on one side and the Cape Flats on the other.
Tips for your visit
- •Start from the Tafelberg Road side for the gentler gradient.
- •Carry enough water for the hike. There is none on the route.
- •Turn back if the cloud comes down; the paths get confusing fast.
